David Mitchell
Managing Partner
Prior to joining TRP, David Mitchell spent 11 years in management consulting including experience as a Senior Manager with Deloitte Consulting in the automotive and manufacturing practice, and a Senior Consultant with Accenture. Dave holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Steven Carrel joined TRP in July 2004. Before joining TRP, Steve worked as an Associate at Penske Capital Partners, TRP's predecessor fund, from 1998 through 2002. Prior to his work at Penske Capital Partners, Steve worked as an analyst in the Investment Banking Division of Merrill Lynch. Steve earned his B.S. in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University and his MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
Michael DiRienzo joined TRP in July 2003. Prior to joining TRP, he was an Analyst in the Global Communications, Media and Technology Investment Banking Group at Merrill Lynch. Michael graduated from the Stern School of Business at New York University with a bachelor's degree in both Finance and Accounting.
Michael Vellucci
Partner
Michael Vellucci joined TRP in February 2010. Prior to joining TRP, he worked in General Electric's Financial Management Program. Michael graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland with a bachelor's degree in both Finance and Accounting.
Ben Aronovitz
Senior Associate
Benjamin Aronovitz joined TRP in May 2023. Prior to joining TRP, he worked as a Private Equity Associate at both Vopne Capital and Dunes Point Capital. In addition, Ben worked as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Group at both Houlihan Lokey and Wells Fargo Securities. Benjamin graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Accounting.
Kaylie Ayres
Associate
Kaylie Ayres joined TRP in August 2020. Prior to joining TRP, she worked as a Commercial Credit Analyst at Park National Bank in Columbus, OH. Kaylie graduated Summa Cum Laude from Franklin University with a bachelor's degree in Finance. She received a specialized master's in Business-Finance from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.

Karen Supina
CFO / CCO
Karen Supina has been working with TRP since 2003. In addition to her work at TRP, she was the Assistant Controller of Penske Corporation from 2003 to 2006. Prior to her work at Penske Corporation, she worked for Deloitte & Touch LLP, where she earned her license as a Certified Public Accountant. Karen graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Lindsay Mink
Controller
Lindsay Mink joined TRP in December 2023. Prior to joining TRP, she worked as a Manager at Plante Moran, providing assurance services to venture capital and private equity firms. Lindsay is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated from Northwood University with a bachelor's degree in Accounting.
