Founding Partner / Advisor

Jim is the Founding Partner primarily responsible for deal sourcing and portfolio monitoring. Prior to co-founding TRP I, Jim was a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division at Merrill Lynch. Jim spent 18 years with Merrill Lynch, where he led teams involved in over 125 investment banking transactions, including merger, sale, recapitalization, and capital raising assignments. From 1985 to 1997, Jim was responsible for the development and coverage of several Fortune 500 investment banking relationships at Merrill Lynch. Jim currently serves on the Board of Directors of GenOx. Jim is also the Vice Chairman of The Lumen Institute.

Jim received a BS from Bucknell University in 1979 and his MBA in Corporate Finance from New York University in 1982.
